They call my name as I pass by.
I use restraint and turn my head the other way!
It was the color that got me on this one.
so it tricked me!
This lovely lady is pretty from behind too!
This is my first chair that I bought.
I was terrified to reupholster it, but I did it!
My arm was tired from all the staple pulling, but other than that, it was surprisingly easy.
I didn't spent a lot of money on fabric, just in case it ended up in the dumpster!
It is amazing what flaws can be hidden with some trim,
and the trim gave it a more finished look.
The funniest thing about this chair . . .
My daughter Erin asking if it is safe to sit in, as she tentatively lowers herself onto it.
No honey, it's just for looks!
- both chairs are available for purchase - SOLD

I love the fabric! Great job.
I love this! What a great job, and I love the fabric you chose! What is the name of that fabric?
I am curious about the fabric, too. It's gorgeous.
What a great job you did on that chair!!!
O.K. the fabric is from Jo-Annes!
It was in the home decor department and was $9.99. With my 40% off coupon it was $6.00! I can't find it on-line, sorry!
You know I love it...I want this one too!!
I can tell that you'll now have the reupholster bug!:) You have given the chairs such a fresh look. Very charming!
Great job! I just bought an identical chair to your second one posted. I am deathly afraid to re-do it but you have restored my confidence.
Thanks!
P.S. Great blog, I am your newest follower.

I can't believe that's from Jo-Annes! It looks so high end and designer! Thanks, can't wait to get my hands on some! I can't get over how cute that chair turned out!
