Warning!

When looking for furniture to paint, I look for solid wood pieces, that are in great shape.

I try to stay away from laminate pieces but

once in a while, I break my own rules!

I found this Broyhill dresser at the local DI, and saw potential.

I know now, that oil base primer works like a charm on laminate!

This dresser also has a hutch!

I am all about functional these days!

Some hidden storage in the drawers, and then some fun shelves!

You can see the top coming up on the dresser, and it's an easy fix with Gorilla Glue!
Gorilla glue works so great!

It will glue anything!

Including my lips!

The cap is small, and I didn't want to loose it,

So I put it between my lips.

Whoops, there was some glue on it, and like I said, it will glue anything!

I am looking forward to seeing the final product! I hear you with the solid wood, I have never tried painting laminate before. I am happy to hear it worked for you. I might just give it a try now!
