Oh Baby! Really a baby and a dresser!

There is NOTHING like a sweet, beautiful Newborn baby!  Especially when he is your Grandbaby!  My  daughter Erin and her hubby Derek, had their 3rd baby boy!  They should have 10 boys, because they make em CUTE!  Today, we had his baby blessing and he was a trooper!  Didn't make a peep, and when his Daddy held him up, to show him off, there were Oohs and Awes! Brought tears to my eyes.
I am grateful for these good days!

Here is a sweet picture of him.  Erin's good friend Kami took them. There are many beautiful pictures, but this one shows off two cute things - Sawyer and his dresser!

Ooh and Awe! Just want to hold him!

So this is what the dresser looked like before it received a new coat of white paint!  Pretty darn cute. It started out your typical brown, but my other daughter, Morgan painted it for her new house.  It didn't quite fit, the style the color, something was off.  So she had it in her garage, gathering dust, and a few dents.  When Erin was looking for a dresser, she described to me what she wanted it look like - well she described this one! So being a nice sister, Morgan gave it to Erin!  That's how we roll around here!

A dent from hitting it with her car!

We painted the dresser in a Valspar semi- gloss white, and finished with a coat of water based poly. (so it won't yellow.) Gave it some new hardware and Voila, a dresser fit for a King ~ or Sawyer~!

Enjoy each precious moment!
Oh, and Erin is working on his room, more pictures to come!

Voila!

Paige & Phil are living in Moscow Idaho while Phil attends the University of Idaho.
It is a Very interesting place!
Very Very beautiful,
and the people of Moscow want to keep it that way.
So they are very green, recycle recycle recycle!
The people are all natural and earthy.
You should see their Farmers market, it is to die for!
We had just come home from the Farmers Market, and Paige wanted a picture of her amazing purchases.
This is what a poor law students wife looks like,
not to bad!

This is one of the buildings at the law school, amazing architecture.

The two love birds!
The campus is beautiful!

This is Cash, their new addition!
He is so cute!

You can find his beanie here on etsy

And Voila!
This is Paige's $5.00 purchase at the thrift store.
We hope to show a Before and After soon!
You can do it Paige!

She's got style!

This living room belongs to my daughter, Morgan!
She just had a birthday!
The big 30!

Morgan works for an Aerospace Firm - a very demanding, fry brain cells kinda job!
She is good at what she does!
She has an unusual good sense for detail!

Example
While attending college, she worked in a Dr.s office two days a week.
He was out the the office on these two days, but she would go in and answer phones, file and transcribe letters for him.
All medical terms, she was unfamiliar with anything medical.
I worked a couple a hours for her, so she could attend a college class.
I also transcribed these letters, and it was like hearing a foreign language.
I always had an error come back and had to retype the letters.
Morgan ALWAYS had 100 % accuracy!
Ticked me off!

Morgan works to pay the bills,
but her real love is anything
creative!
Her minor was in Interior Design!
She has style and knows what she likes.
She bought a brand spanking new house,
and is ready to decorate it if she had time!
Here are a few pictures of her home.

The doors, all through the house - Love!

Translation - How Beautiful!

I Love all things FRENCH!

Lake Geneva

Jake served a mission in Geneva Switzerland, and lived in Switzerland and France for 2 years!

We went back to visit the people he had met and see the sites.
We were in Europe for 14 days with him. We would have been lost with out him as our tour guide!
He maneuvered us around the cities and especially the metro!
The best part was hearing him speak French!

The language of Love.

We saw a lot of beautiful things and I became enamored with all things French.

And the French were enamored with Jake, the French Girls, that is!

The people, the style, the fashion, the beautiful stone buildings, the small one way paved streets, carousels in every city center, and especially the decorating!

This was my favorite Bed & Breakfast we stayed in.

Wouldn't this be a great guest room!

I would love to recreate it, and use this furniture.

With a new coat of white paint, of course!

I love the detail and the beautiful legs!

Beautiful lines and detail

How beautiful it would be with,

Crisp white linens

wall paper that is red
